About
Nestled on Division Street, you’ll find The Lodge Tavern. This corner bar has stood the test of time, opening its doors in 1957. Since then, we’ve added more songs to our jukebox and refilled more baskets of peanuts than we can count. Other than that, not much else has changed.
The Lodge Tavern is the epitome of a Chicago neighborhood bar. Generations of people – all ages and stages – have flocked to The Lodge Tavern because it screams Chicago. Pull up a seat, order your favorite beer, check out the “Bullpen”, and come see what all the fuss is about.
Here for the Customers
We started 50 years ago with a few tappers, some tables, and the hopes of becoming the best place to meet your friends. It is safe to say that our customers have made that all possible for us. Thanks to our customers, The Lodge Tavern is a part of the memories of generations of Chicago locals and Chicago lovers across the globe.
Our bar has seen it all, and done so with a beer in its hand. If these walls could talk…well, we’d turn up the jukebox.
Here for the City
The Lodge Tavern is a part of Chicago neighborhood history. Our little corner bar is an essential landmark to visit on your next trip to Chicago, or on your next trip home from work. We love our local customers and our visiting tourists, and give everyone – suburban dweller to city lover – the same treatment.
Don’t miss stopping by for a drink soon. You’ll come for the history and ambiance, but stay for the drinks, the peanuts, the service, the jukebox, and the good time. What are you waiting for? Get in here already – we’ll save you a seat at the bar.
